About the Program:
Math Club is open to 5th and 6th grade kids.
We meet before school every other week (tentatively Thursdays at 7:10 a.m.) to explore math topics, as well as practice common test questions that appear in the contests that we participate in - MOEMS elementary division (https://moems.org/ 5 tests throughout the year) and Noetic contests (fall and spring) (https://www.noetic-learning.com/mathcontest/). All contests are optional.
Volunteers:
We are seeking parent volunteers to assist with the Math Club coaching sessions. The great news is that coaches do not need to commit to every coaching session; your availability is entirely flexible.
Here are the two ways you can contribute:
Coaching Sessions: If you have a knack for math or simply enjoy helping students, you can sign up to lead coaching sessions. Your math expertise would be greatly appreciated, but it's not a strict requirement.
Keeping Students Focused: We also need volunteers to help maintain a productive and focused atmosphere during the coaching sessions. No prior math experience is necessary for this role.
We will open the registration once we have enough volunteers.
