1. Everyone did AMAZING at auditions!  If your junior actor did not get the part they wanted, it does not mean they didn't do well!  If they are upset it is ok... it means they care!  They will love their part once they start learning it!
2. Parents- you are their number 1 cheerleader and your reaction matters!  If you are excited about their role, they won!  If you show you are disappointed, they feel like they failed.  
3. Don't assume you know the full scope of your part based on the movie or other productions you have seen.  You don't know your part until the show is done!
4. Don't count lines!!!  Your value in the show is not measured by the number of lines but the quality of your performance.
5. Every part is important!  We can not do our production without every single one of these characters and ensembles. 

REHEARSALS

Grades 2-6:

Mondays 2:30pm - 4:30pm & Wednesdays 12:30pm - 2:30pm

Monday Dates: 2/3, 2/10, 2/24, *3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5. 

                     *****3/3 is early release for conference week so rehearsals will be 12:30pm - 2:30pm.

Wednesday Dates: 2/5, 2/12, 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7.

Grades K-1:

Wednesdays: 12:30pm - 1:30pm

Dates: 2/5, 2/12, 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7.

Please understand that we have a lot to learn in a short amount of time so leaving early is very disruptive to the process.  Please try to limit absences and early dismissals as much as possible, thanks in advance!!!  

Technical Dress Rehearsals (M-TH):  5/12, 5/13, 5/14, 5/15 every day after school for 3 hours. 

ALL Actors will need to miss all other after school activities this week as attendance is

mandatory for 3 hours after school.
